These women were a panel of leaders who met with our group at the Federation of Cuban Women. They were very well prepared and answered many questions about the conditions and treatment of women. Our male guide was the translator for the session and added quite a bit of humor. It is interesting to note that the Federation is one of the largest communist organizations in Cuba. Also, the welcoming drink here was coffee or water, not mojito.
